Aspromec Awards

The Association of Professionals for the Competitiveness of Machining committed to fostering competitiveness among companies in the sector, valuing aspects such as training, internationalization, the Spain brand or investment in technological equipment. One of the most effective ways to recognize and give visibility to the enormous effort promoted by these companies, as the engine of the industrial fabric of our country, is through the organization of Aspromec Awards.

Mechanizers, leading companies, technological centers, universities, providers, innovation centers, administrations, Training centers, sectoral groups and institutions linked to the world of machining have an annual appointment at the Luchana Theaters in Madrid. An event that highlights the activity and development of actors from the world of machining, while creating synergies between the different professionals.

Engine of the mechanized industry

Since its foundation, Aspromec intends to establish itself as a spokesperson for the machining sector in Spain y, to promote your business, promotes initiatives that foster its growth and international expansion. For it, Aspromec organiza encounters that promote the competitiveness and open new business opportunities, In addition to making available to companies tools that promote the networking, direct contact with Potential customers and increase your visibility in a scenario more and more digitized.

Los Aspromec Awards born after the participatory success of the Machining Meetings, that are organized throughout the Spanish geography; and the development of Mechanizer Platform, where the business opportunities between the different business actors. Activities that complement each other and that aim to respond to the conclusions of the AVIVA study presented by Aspromec.
And observatory of the machining industry, where future trends are provided for a transformation towards the Industry 4.0. But it is also vital to invest in I+D+I, as a true engine of growth, to contribute technological solutions that contribute to improving production processes and achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

Reference of the metal-mechanic sector

In the latest edition of the Aspromec Awards, a round table was organized to outline the future lines of the machining industry. Francisco Moreno Gil, President of Aspromec, acted as moderator of the meetingMachining in the Industry 4.0 seen from within’, which also participated Alfredo Lopez-Diez, Head of Advanced Engineering en ITP Aero; Augusto Escudero Luengo, head department. Technician Engine Factory of Renault Spain and AUrelio Rafael Guzon, managing director of Faymasa.

In this interesting debate, the need to cooperation between companies in the sector and, above all, the empowerment of internationalization as a way to its growth and strengthening within the industrial fabric. In fact, of the 6.000 machining companies that exist in Spain, half do not sell outside their autonomous community and the 80% has never exported outside the country. The keys to adapt to the new demands of the market were also exposed., to promote the digital transformation of the industry and to value the training in the new technologies to guarantee the generational relief.
